I saw there is a School thread, so since we grew up a bit, I though it would be a good idea to talk out who is studying what and where etc. in general, to discuss college life and what we're planing to become one day. So, I'll start. Since 2008. I live in Zagreb, Croatia at the Faculty of Political Science, studying politics and diplomacy. I'm in my third year now.

You ain't all bad till you miss nearly all of your lectures in half your subjects, fall asleep on the day of the test - twice - due to the fact you only found it necessary to "rest your eyes for a moment" (after an entire night... or two of lack of sleep) some half an hour before it, or when you show up for a lecture only to find out that yes, you have a test in 3 minutes or when you don't hear about the test until only after it is long over and the results already out Now that, my friends, is irresponsible ^^ And yes, you party pooper, loosen yeh chains a little eh? ;D I only talk jibberish half the time 'cause my uni is loosey goosey like that and even the cool kids professors are doing it Over and out.

another English lang. major 'ere.. when I finish my Uni, there are 3 things I want to do with the knowledge... Teach, Translate and write... and that's about it... the reason is that I was pretty much undecided on what to study because I was interested in many things, but I felt English helped me the most in finding out about stuff that interested me, so I thought "Hey why not do teaching, I love kids, it's a relatively good way to earn a living, and repay my debt to the English language. I could do some translating on the side and I could probably work on my hobby(aspiring passion), writing...." that's about it from me....

Yeah, third year Thanks Time flies :x It's like a few months ago we were in High school In the first year I studied everyday almost, but not much, about an hour or two a day and it was quite enough but now I'm a lazy prick and I study a few days before the exam *damn me!* I agree with Sonja on the irresponsible stuff Last year, I got back from skiing from Kopaonik, arrived in Zagreb in 5 am, decided to rest my eyes a bit since my Uni starts at 8 and I have to be awake and ready at 7. So, I fell asleep, woke up at 7, got dressed and while I was putting my socks on and getting to put my shoes on I sat down on the floor and fell asleep 'till 2pm. Of course I missed the class and stuff. When I woke up I was like: WTF! Why am I on the floor all dressed up in a jacket and stuff?! Oh Lord did my back hurt then, yaaauza!

Hey hey hey kids XD Long time no see Reading all these stories reminds me of how irresponsible I am about uni. Never study unless I have an exam coming up... >.< Mind you I work at the same time XD I'm surprised at how many english majors there are here. Being a chem major I feel left out lol

Ahahaha, Sonja & Sara have some interesting stories. xD I think I'm in legit danger of falling asleep in funny hours, forgetting test etc. And Jaelen, don't feel left out, I'm studying environmental engineering. Which is one of chemical engineering's branches.
