So to answer Barbara - Mozda i ima nekih turskih reci ali onda ih i mi svi razumemo tj. koristimo posto nemamo problema sa sporazumevanjem. Ili bar koliko sam ja primetila. Nedavno sam slusala neku emisiju o sexualnom obrazovanju mladih na bosanskoj televiziji i sve sam lepo razumela. Samo su akcenti drugaciji. And the translation, if something's unclear and if anyone else who doesn't understand wants to read it. --> Maybe there are some turkish words but in that case we all understand them too, and use them seeing as we don't have problems with communicating. Or not that I've noticed. I recently watched some tv show about sex education on Bosnian TV- station and understood everything without problems. Accents (or intonation) are pretty much all that's different.

baka-idiot hahahahahah ehm... sorry 4 that.... why don't you take that whole serbian-croatian-bosnian thing same as the british-american english. i mean, few words differs, and the accent. and that's it. you say u understood everything without problems but when you say it that way it sounds like those are different languages. (politics, ppl, politics! )

Lol, they really aren't. I mean serbian-croatian-bosnian are more closely related than even the dialects of english spoken around the world! You might not believe me but its true.
Oh and about the whole political side to it, well there's that but it's also national pride I think. My 2 bosnian friends are very nationalistic. I don't understand why, as far as I'm concerned: mi smo svi jugovici (we're all yugoslavs) ;D
